This is one of the many electromedical "quack" devices. This is a mechanical massager/vibrator and it works really well. It will beat the heck out of ya! This Star Electric Vibrator was manufactured by the Fitzgerald Mfg Co. I am unsure of the actual date of this item suspect early 1900s to 1920.
