Perhaps it's a strange thing to 'collect', but we have a passion for beautiful tables, and for the joy of everyone around a dinner table. And if the table shows off my collection to feast the eyes, everyone forgives the occasional faux pas in my slightly less than world-class cooking skills. With the Holidays approaching, THIS is my favorite collection to draw from now. We love to layer sets of complimenting fine china (Minton, Worcester, Limoges, Copeland, Coalport - just to name a few) and to change out the sets of fine French sterling silver and compliments of knives, too. Just wanted to share!

What is the blue and gold set?? OMG that is gorgeous!!
well, call me nuts too, but I love to use my fine china, crystal, and sterling flatware. Holidays are especially a good time to decorate with these settings.
I love to mix and match and create and make it a special time.

I agree with you cis2you. I use my "good stuff" on all holidays and sometimes just because the mood hits me. That is why I have it, to use it. I know a lot of people who would be horrified. *LOL* My favorite is the first set. Just gorgeous!
