This pottery mug obviously belonged to a royal family member! Purchased at a Goodwill off their mug rack. I wonder if this Prince went ballistic when he realized that his "favorite" mug is missing! Anyway it has a "majolic" style glaze over a terrra cotta type pottery. It is very sturdy. Can anyone identify the writing? Mabe I can get a reward for retuning it to "His heigness"! Hmmmm! Thanks! DonM.

It kinda reminds me of Blue Mountain Pottery. I'm not sure though.
