Advertising Tape Measure GENERAL ELECTRIC REFRIGERATORS W.D. Watts Kingfisher Oklahoma
Made by the Parisian Novelty Co. Chicago
Pat 7-10-17, 11-4-19,
I have collected tape measures (mostly advertising ones, but others that were a little different) for 20 plus years. I started when we lived in a one bed room, up stairs apartment in Dallas Texas. They were displayed in a shadow box, which was actually a "Type Case Tray" for printers type, that hung on the wall. I like those that were interesting in graphics and type of items advertised, and also for locations.
I have posted some groupings and will now post the individual ones that I like the best as more specific information can be posted for them that way.

AR8Jason question for you, when you go to the antique store do they give guys 10% off when paying in cash ? because the one i go to here where i live they do. so i was just wondering if this happens in you area?
Your question is "Do I GET 10% off when paying cash?"
(If I was the store then I would be the one "giving.")
The answer is, that if I was buying a significant amount, I would negotiate that into my deal. There is an old saying, "Cash is King." When you are holding out a stack of cash when making an offer, I find it is harder for them to say "no."
Many antique malls charge EXTRA if you use a credit card.
Some malls charge their their sellers 3% on a sale if a credit card is used. This recoups the cost of the use of the card. In effect they are doing the same thing, giving a cash discount.
