    Repost: Bought with a group of farm tools,it was described as a carpet strecher. Hard to figure out it would work as described. Flat piece at floor has teeth at angle to grab only one way. Upright piece has point on end and adjustable rod which passes through it. Can only push carpet about 2-3 inches. Need help identify this tool and function. Thanks to walksoftly for his help. Any comments and info will be appreciated. Thanks bones

      Thanks again scotts Think they tapped it with hammer? It has no marks but maks more sense than what I was thinking. I'll give it a few days before marking solved. Again thanks
