I found this matchbox in a rumage sale about 5 years ago, in Norquay, SK, Canada. There is a note inside, dated Nov.11, 1960. It reads
" Dad gave me this match box as a gift. It was Dad's Fathers . He (Grandfather) gave it to Dad when he was about 12 years old in England. " I don't have any names or ideas who may have owned it, but am interested in any information about it

No silver marks anywhere on it?
It is 1 1/2 inches high, 1 1/4 inches wide and approx.1/4 inch deep with no extra markings than what you see in the photo
OMGosh I love it!
Maybe designed to be worn as a watch fob?
There is a chain attached to the top of it similar to a watch fob
The chain it is on is definitely for a man There does seem to be a match striker on the bottom Thank you all for the information
I have tried every way I know how to get a picture of the stiker but to no avail I did however get a picture of the chain and will put it with the other pictures shortly
