Another flea find today. Seller and I believe it to be 40s but no maker mark. Hook to catch has been resoldered, some rhinestones darkened but otherwise it is very interesting. A hefty one, it weighs 2.5 oz. Last photo shows both the Lustern and this together - I like it.
Updated: 20 Feb 12 - Thanks to davyd286, this necklace has been identified as a Kafin NY.

Does anyone else think the necklace with red stones looks like a Kafin N.Y. piece?

Well, bless my rhinestone collection! davyd286 you are a genius. Here is a same necklace but in blue stone on eBay link:http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Signed-Kafin-New-York-Demi-Becklace-Earrings-Mid-Century-Blue-Baguette-/200716833402?pt=Vintage_Costume_Jewelry&hash=item2ebba7d27a
Thanks for the tip - there is no makers mark on this necklace but upon closer examination the other rhinestones are not cloudy - they are blue. Also, I'll assume that the clasp on my necklace was replaced. All examples have the maker stamped on the folder-over clasp.
