Here is a mystery. I found this on a beach in Virginia back in the 1960's. I have no idea what it is other then maybe a lid. The object is apx 2 1/2 inches across. It says WHITEHOUSE on it and it looks handmade.Yes that is my hand,only way I could take a picture of it lol.

That is off a White House Vinegar jar, most likely a quart size.
It is not hand made.

Now I know what it is and better yet what it went to.
I might as well add this.My wife says I have been collecting garbage for 60 years,of all things a vinegar jar lid . Must be a curse or something to collect things lol.
