Budek

Hello All,
I bought this years ago, and have always loved it.
It had been used under a candlestick and was dirty and messy with wax.
I knew that it was an old piece and when I got it cleaned noticed the iridescence of the glaze and the surface wear.
When I peeled off the felt backing to see if it was signed I found the scratches pictured in photo #3. I'm not sure it's a signature, but may be.
Does it look familiar to anyone?

Is that clay underneath really that red, Budek?
Love the eight sided shape. A detail tile. The design is Arts and Crafts and the shape is Hispano-Moresque. Is it American?
Vetraio,
The color of the clay is a touch warmer than the photo. I don't know where it was made,( I thought it might be American ), but agree that it has that Spanish-Moorish feel. Thanks for commenting!!, you're AWESOME!!:)
