Would like to know a little more about this clock and how much it worth. I do now that is made in West Germany about the 1950. the maker of the clock is Schatz. I have researched the signature and it was signed this way in the 1950's. The finish of the clock is black lacquer, it has 13 figurines of mather of pearl plus pagodas, mountains, all made of mother on pearl. the faces of the figurines could be made of ivory. We purchase this clock several years-ago on a estate auction at a cost of $400.00. it did had a sticker with the price of $1,500.00. Any information about if the cavinet was also made in Germany or the makers of Schatz had the cabinet made in Japan?, also the present value. Thank you very much. sincerely. MAC
