very impressive! Love your collection!!
I collected vinyl for 40 years, but have since sold my collection. It was time for my to stop collecting things. I specialized in Blues, Rock-a-Billy, Doo Wop & Motown lp's and 78's. I still deal in 78's, but no more collecting. I have a classic 1973 Realistic Lab-36-A player. I play-grade many of the 78's I sell.
Hello: I dont mind at all scandinavian. I play Bass Guitar and sing. I had my own band for several years and now I am at the Liberty,Texas OpryBand for 5 years, and I love Playing there. Great Musicians,as well as Great People!! Thanks for asking. What instruments are played in your Family??
We play all types of music. We have a show every Sat night and theh have different themes. We have country, fifties, gospel, some big band nights. On the fifties and Elvis nights we have a Sax and Trumpet players who come in from the Houston. We rehearse with the Different Singers every Sat Evening.Check out the opry web site at libertyopryonthesquare.com and you can get a feel for the shows. about the records, I have about 5,000 or so LPs and about that many 45s. The shelves were made by a pro Carpenter. I am NOT a wood worker so I leave it up to the Pro's! Check out my Mandolin Post on my site. I think you will like it. Thanks again scandinavian
Thanks scandinavian.
I love Vinyl but hocked most of mine off at my garage sale several years ago - kept the Madonna and Cocteau Twins. Regret I sold them now. Considering my flatmate dropped my turntable from first story window and cracked it when we were shifting house I guess now it's not a such a bad thing.
Do you file all these alphabetically or by Music Category. My stepfather had a collection as large as yours and one bored day I categorised by group and music type.
Sorry to hear about your Collection. I am slowly arranging them by musik type. It is a slow go,as I have many other irons in the fire! Thanks flowerrose.
