1902 Liberty head $5 gold coin (cased)
Received this coin from a family member several years ago, was curious to know anything anyone may know about it. The poor quality photos are due to the casing it is in, looks to be plexi-glass sealed by plastic rivits, and matted. I brought it to a coin store near my home and was offered $350.00 for it, yet I found one on eBay of the same year, not encased, with several days left on it currently with bids at $450.00.
If there is anything more I can describe please feel free to ask!
