Hello All,
This is a great piece. I don't know where I picked it up,... Possibly an on-line auction or a local thrift shop, but it was many years ago.
I've always loved it, the abbreviated image of a man surrounded by a curious border appears to be fused between layers of glass(?)
It's approximately 8 1/2 inches in diameter and is signed ' Frank Ball , Provincetown, '75 '. Being an artist living a short drive from Provincetown, this is of special interest to me. I'm always looking for vintage, diverse, and exciting works by local artists.
I'm surprised that I haven't been able to find anything out about this artist,
......it's that cool.

budek, this is spectacular!! I can just see the figure with the five exclamation points as a neon sign in front of a "rave bar". The image is funny, and I'm sure the artist intended that. It's just great. That figure with ex.points could be a fantastic logo for some great innovative think tank, like CW...maybe it can be the perfect logo for CW, cos' that is exactly how I feel every time I find out some mystery that has been in my family for half a century. I just LOVE this plates image. It is phenomenal and uplifting!! Mich
