I came across this glass not knowing what it was when I bought my first piece a few years ago at a flea market. Thanks to my friends at Glasshounds and some research I know a little bit more about it and have acquired a few more pieces. The information below is what I have been able to find out so far:

“Beyermann Co. was established in Haida/Nový Bor, Bohemia/Czechoslovakia in 1865 by Gustav Beyermann along with Franz Schlegel Sr. and later managed by the brothers, Fritz and Max Beyermann. Although the company had many operations it produced mainly vases, cruet sets, liquor sets and glazed children's toys. The company had to be dissolved in 1928. Between 1873 - 1878 the firm was buying blanks from Harrach and the production was secured mostly through domestic craftsmen. The company had a sample shop in Paris and dealerships in Vienna, Hamburg and Berlin. The company regularly attended the fair in Leipzig. Only a few of their pieces were signed”.

These are absolutely beautiful. Love the first pic and last particularly. But I'd take them all!!!

BEAUTIFUL glass from a firm that I am not familiar with. They are some of the most appealing/ stunning pieces of art glass that I have ever seen.

    How are the scenes applied?

I need to find a flea market that sells quality pieces like this!

Scott, my knowledge on the technical side of glass making is limited so I am not going to attempt to answer your question. I will ask my glass buddies for the answer :). I am glad you like them!

Very interesting. Looks like some sort of fired pigments or enamel...notice how the applied areas carry an iridescent sheen, while the ground glass does not. I would think that this meant that the applied decor was fired in some way to impart the iridescence. The vase in your 4th picture is my favorite.

These are pretty:). Kinda reminds me of Wedgewood Fairyland Lustre too.
