Picked this rare bicycle/ scooter up a couple months ago, I believe it to be out of the 1920's or 1930's. The seat can be removed and then the bicycle turns into a scooter. I'm probably going to have it restored at some point down the road. Thanks for looking!

Thanks pops, trukn20, trgrubaugh, pickingupbones, walksoftly, and rocker-sd.
Looks cool, very utilitarian appearance. Looks like it has rubber ties on it, but I wonder how you would stop it-Fred Flintstone-style, perhaps?

Chevy59, Have you been able to obtain any more information on this bike/scooter? MY friends father owns one of these which he was given in 1942. He states the bike is older, possibly 20's or 30's. We can not find anything like it and were surprised to see your posting. Any information would help us try to determine make/model/value. Thanks
hi i have had a detailed report done on my scooter by NBHAA.com but have not yet recived the results back when i do i will be sure to post. i think the scooter is from the 1930's
Thanks hitman, I was told by another collector that it was from the late 20's or early 30's but I'm not for sure. I've only seen a few of these scooter bikes, it is quite a rare bike.
I like your scooter hotrod62, it's more complete than mine. I will trade you! lol
Thanks chevy59. I was able to locate one that was restored and recently sold at a online auction. It was appraised from $140 to $1,400.It sold for $400 but did not provide any info as far as make, model, year ect.I was very supprised it sold yhis cheap.Well keep me posted.I am aware of 5 of these but everyone that has one is in the same boat as far as info. Scooter/bycycle was my key word search.
