this was a beautiful piece my Dad and his girlfriend collected. I was blown away by the beauty of her face and the detail in her garb. unfortunately I neglected to see a flaw...her head must have broken and has been repaired. I recently sold her,and the buyer has brought this to my attention. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as to how value is depreciated by such a discovery. Not looking for dollar amounts,just thoughts to help me determine a fair and reasonable solution to my dilema. My thanks!

Hello nanab, I don't think there is a guideline for this. The value was established in the mind of the buyer, and your price met that criteria, resulting in a sale. But the break (which I can't see in the photo) changed the value and only the buyer can determine by how much, if still interested in the piece. The fair and reasonable solution is a refund, OR a renegotiation if the buyer is willing. You would have to consider what you might ask for it, now knowing of the break. Was this an ebay transaction? If so the buyer does have the right to request a refund in full. As the seller, it is your responsibility to fully disclose any and all problems with the piece.
