We have 5 trunks saved by women since 1850s 1 women was the Captains wife they went to Cape Town, India, Hong Kong, Australia, and South America at least once . We have her diaries she wrote on his ship when she traveled with him Clipper ship, 1860s-1895. Also when he died she traveled to Paris by herself for sure we have postcards from her, her sister lived here in our house. When she died 1921 she was here with the trunks, both sisters of the women who lived brought trunks here and died in our house, Here is 3, the canvas one has Chinese writing, the other Italy stamps form the great holel hoteltramontano.com/sorrento-hotel.php
