Three Chinese Star Gods, molded composition, about 4” high. Fu (Jupiter) is depicted in scholar's dress, holding a scroll, Lu (Ursa Major) holding a sceptre, in the dress of a mandarin. Shou (Canopus, the star of the South Pole in Chinese astronomy) is recognized by his high, domed forehead and the peach which he carries as a symbol of immortality.

Three Star Gods, carved mahogony wall plaques, each aprox. 17” x 7” x ½”.

Shou, Carved hardwood, 12 ¼” high.
