This was in my Mom's Indian Jewelry Collection, the most part of which was stolen in Paris. A few pieces remain, and I have no idea of their origin. There is no stamp, this one seems very old. The obsidien stone is intact, which is, in itself, amazing, as it is very big. Any American Indian Jewelry experts who can help me know what tribe and era this is from? Thank you again for all the help people provide on this site, Michelle Amieux

Navajo. Again with the polishing... I've never understood why people do this. It took decades for that patina to build up, its where all the charm of antique silver is at, and it distinguishes it from contemporary pieces. Is it because you feel like its "dirty" and have to clean it?

Yikes Stillwater, what a buzzkill you are!! Just trying to have a little fun, don't need any little" bitties" judging my wares. Didn't your Mama teach you, if you don't have something NICE to say, say Nothing at All????

Thank you Bellin, I have always tried to make people feel good about themselves, it is important to feeling good about oneself. I really try to say only nice things, I want people to walk away from an interaction with me happier than they were before the interaction!! PS, I have been sick so long the Patina is back(ocean air). Maybe I will post some more recent photos, for the Patina lovers, of which I am!! Live and Learn was the moral of this story!!

Just trying to figure out why people have the urge to do this to their silver. My last question wasn't "judging," it is my running theory on the subject
