As requested, here's the pencils that were in the box with my old "dip" pen. By the thickness of the lead, I guess them to be "older", but none of them look like anything special to me. However, some of the brand names are not familiar.
But, it's not like I know anything about old writing implements. I'm ignoring the ones in the last photo as they seem pretty common, except for the blue double ended pen.
Brands (left to right - first photo)
Stik - magnetic so it sticks to metal
Wonder
Wearever
Zaner
Readyrite
Rosa
If anyone thinks these are collectible, I'd love to know that.
Thanks in advance.

What part of Illinois?
Central Illinois, near Peoria, out in the country.
Was just wondering, I was born & raised in Wheaton, then on to Lincoln College.
packrat-place,
I've heard of Wheaton :-) I was raised in the South Suburbs back in the day before it was lethal to live there - Richton Park.
Lincoln? I am in that town about four times a week. You might not recognize it with the Tropics being shut down and a new Kroger store and a super "wallyworld".
Peace
Thank you for the insights AR8Jason.
The gold colored pencil ("Photo on the right, third pencil from the right") is only stamped with USA and is actually rusting where the pocket clip meets the body. Perhaps the photo was misleading.
"The first four in the first picture are "better than average" " - that's good to know. Thanks.
Superman is not my thing so I might put that out on eBay and see what happens. It does have a 1978 copyright on it.
