I have a 14kt gold watch. The name on front is gilbert 17 jewels. It also has unbreakable main spring, incabloc, antimagnectic. It is a winding watch. Inside also has name gilbert on workings etc. On inside of back has word, " acme 14kt", looks almost like raised letters, also several hand written numbers and letters. The out side edge is also marked 14 kt. It seems to run very smooth and keeps very good time and does not have the usual ticking but a tone, maybe. On the outer back it has three letters, maybe initials. It is not plated gold but solid. The band says speidel pat.2,689,450, and the edge of band says 10k.g.f top caps 65. One question I have, is, since the name gilbert is on the out side and inside, is he the maker, and or, designer?
