Yet another of my finds this week! Believe this is Kosta Boda. Have been doing research to find it's exact name. Pretty confident that she is genuine, as she looks and feels like my other S. glass.
Searched the whole thrift but couldn't find it's twin dagnabbit!
Did find a bunch of 50s bar ware and my first Heath piece which I will post later.

Thank you Ingrid and Sean! Hope you both are doing well!
Can you show us a photo of the bottom?
The other ideas are Finland and Japan, too!
I like that description...pressed bark.
Bottom is smooth and clear, but will get it out soon.
Thanks for looking!
Nybro!!! Found it!!! I am just learning about this Swedish manufacturer and there is a lot I like. Seeing all the photos helps we keep an eye out!
Bellin68 we seem to have the same taste in Vintage lol
Fabulous!!!
Thanks miKKo and vintage love, brat, and Hedge. I have been wondering in what seems to be forever what this piece was...
I have a question for you, AmberRose do Scandinavian glass usually have markings? if not where would they be made. The reason i am asking is because i have a candle holder but has a sticker saying made in china.
Hi brattjdd, yes there are quite a few people who do knock offs. Look for stickers, signed pieces (not always on the bottom either) and currently I am trying to solidify in my mind color. Scandinavian pieces seem to be like a glowing ice. Try putting your China one near one you know is real. See the color difference???
Yes, I have bought fakes and probably still will. Yes, I skip pieces if I am unsure unless they are super cheap.
I am even having trouble of finding too many Kosta Boda snowballs. I don't know what it is but I found five of them (real ones) two weeks ago. I've got like 20 now. I even considered not getting the last one, but it was 45 cents. What is a girl to do??? If you want a pair, I will send them to you. Email is on my profile.
Have a great day brattjdd!
