This is a classic secessionist form that dates to November, 1898, commissioned by Max Emmanuel. Ricke, Band 2 (the Mustershcnitte) shows that it is form number 346/351. This is a tall piece - 15-1/4 inches. The Astraa decor is executed on a candia ground with honey-brown oil spots on silberiris. This is my first example of this decor, so I am very excited about it.

Wow! Way cool. I have only seen these in silberiris. I didn't know they did the candlesticks in Astraa! Congratuations on finding such a great example in this decor.
