ALL I know is that it was purchased in 1970 for $275.00 because it still had the string with the tag around it. The lighting in my pic is off, but the lamp is really beautiful---- I also need to clean the crystals. I dont even know what to search to find out what its worth...crystal lamp returns too many results, and ive tried christmas tree lamp and crystal tree lamp and can not find anything even remotely like it. Any suggestions or opinions would REALLY be appreciated. I have been trying to figure this lamp out for the last four years since my husband inherited it.

Well. If this were to be hanging from ceiling, it would not look so much like tree. Is it upside-down?
I'm with Beaux, I too think it is upside down and the big plate goes against the ceiling making a chandeler (SP)..
