    Hi we recently found a metal button in our garden. I can't seem to find
    out any information about it. Loop fastening, clip together style. Looks like aluminium? or some other lightweight metal...it's round, approx 1" across.

    On the top side it has a large monogram of SC embellished and the other side it says LAUN7 and London. We are down the road from very old army camp(s) from like, 75 years ago or more!
    Also, I recently purchased a very old cast Cottage Bell, does anyone know anything about it's age? History? Ta.
    Anyone know anything about the button. Sorry no image.

      Thanks for info on Bell, I purchased mine at Frome Auction for £14.00 so did get it cheaper than the website selling them if you include P&P = £17.00. Plus I had fun at the Auction, very exciting - bidding with 100 people there!
