ok this is a clock i have been offered,but have some questions that maybe someone could help me with.1st.. is it genuine?have found one that sold at auction for 1300.00. at 2800.00 the guy is way out of line,but what might a fair price be for it?i am buying to keep it,not resell. thanks again,mick

The auction house doesn't have a clue what to appraise it at...$10 to $10,000 means whatever the market will bear.
Assuming the guy will still have it up for sale for another week, see what the one at auction goes for, or maybe bid on it yourself...either way it can't hurt.
beautiful clock, the 2800 would be a fair retail price IMO, the coca-cola version of these go for much more. As a pickr/scrounger, I would lean more towards your auction price & try to get it for that.
