Marked "MERIDEN SILVER PLATE CO QUADRUPLE PLATE" and has the lion hallmark. Also has the number 38 underneath. Measures 7" by 5.5" by 1.75". I am estimating late 1800s but this is a new area for me any information on age, value and history would be appreciated. Thanks, Anne
