I have this sewing machine, and I think its kinda unique, but I don't know much about it. It is a Wilcox & Gibbs Machine. Does any one know what type of sewing its for, what era its from, and its collectibility factor?
Thanks!!

There should be a serial number stamped in the side of the machine body under the cloth plate. This style of machine was their main domestic model for many years, while it may have early patent dates stamped on it, this electric machine probably dates to near 1920.
