Raiders of the Lost Ark was my second favorite movie as a kid (next to Star Wars) but my Indiana Jones action figures were almost more beloved due to their rarity. Also, there was sublime quality to their design, and almost academic attention to subtle detail, that wouldn't be seen in action figures for years to come (at least until the adult-collector market exploded).
