Vintage BMC Senior Pedal Tractor - Age ?? It was stored by a family member who passed away, and appears to be in very good condition, fully functional. Any Idea on when it was made? Or anything else I should know about it?

I just bought one like yours, but mines really rusty. I found out that BMC (Binghamton Manufactoring Company) starting making riding toys in 1947. It was either a car dealership or a tool manufactor before that. AMF bought them out in 1954. Hope this helps!!

My brother got one just like this Christmas 1951..... There are some tractors on E-Bey but they are not just like this one and not in this great condition, selling from $200 to $700. You really have something special. There are a lot of us "Baby Boomers" around that are remembering "The Good Old Days". Thanks for sharing this with us!

I just found your post. I have an almost identical BMC tractor that I was given as a child in about 1951. Haven't had much luck finding a value. Did you learn anything more?
