There should be a serial number on the front edge of the bottom of the receiver. Winchester records will tell you what year this rifle was produced.
Looks like a 94 but in bad shape. As stated above the serial number can be traced to date it. The half click hammer safety on them was really bad but they were a great and accurate close work gun or brush gun.

I believe you have a 1970's Winchester 94. The little pin behind the trigger is a safety. The handle must be Squeezed to depress the pin to allow the rifle to be fired. These were produced in the early 70's.
