    Typically these are encountered in sterling.

    This unusual example is made from wood. The base Army Air Corps wing (3" like an actual wing) has dark and light wood inlays in the shield.

    The "V" for Victory has been cut out of a darker wood.

    This took some time and personal attention to construct.

    While I have numerous examples of metal sweetheart wings, this is my only wood wing.
