    I have no clue about these passed on to me.One is cermaic the other brass and glass Ges Gesch is stamped on the bottom some cool looking demons on it.

      Hi Pono!
      Really nice inkwell.
      The ges. gesch is short for the German terms: gesetzlich geschützt - Registered (patent/design/trademark).
      It is probably German, Austrian or Bohemian.
      The inkwell should not be cleaned.
      Leave the patination on it!
      Please!
      The metal is copper.
      But this is the way everyone wants to find an object like this!

      I like the porcelain art object as well!
