When Mary Hoyer first started her Doll line she used this unmarked 14 inch composition . As you can see Michelle she looks much like your 11 Inch size . The size is the difference and her dolls had good quality wigs and you will not find them with stapled on clothes as there is one much like her that has poor quality wig and the doll will have staple holes . The First Hoyer also feels heavier . Shortly after she used this doll her husband felt dolls should be marked with her name . Then came the open close eye Composition with The Mary Hoyer Doll embossed on her back . This one had no markings . Circa about 1937-1940 .

I just got the Mineral Oil this weekend, and as the hole in my roof caused my kitchen ceiling to land on my kitchen floor. So, I was offline for awhile, I missed you all. Mich
