Hi...I've translated, several web resources, and consistently, rostfritt stål, refers to re-phrased definitions, of stainless steel, aka: "...alloyed steel, alloy steel, fine steel, high grade steel, high quality steel, special steel, steel alloy..."
Also, followed and translated various links, which only led to the industrialized-sector, whose European businesses, utilize higher-grade stainless, in production.
I suspect, that the term, rostfritt stål, refers to the material / European standard, moreso, than to an actual company. Yes? I didn't spend, too much time, but I haven't yet, pulled any historical info., pertaining to a company, existing under that name.
