Hi,
I am trying to find out more about this little clay German doll. I found it in a brick a brack box on an Antique market in Berlin, It appears a bit like a mold, it looks quite old in style (1800?) But has Germany writen on the back and the writing style looks much more resent, perhaps 40/50?
It seems a very unusual little doll, I have so far not found any images of one like it, I would love to find out what its use and purpose was/is. I did find an article about some clay figures that where put in cakes in a certain part in France on a special day but lost that article- and now I can not find out any more about that when I researched it.
I greatly appreciate anybody's knowledge or opinion about the mystery of this little chappy, thanks for your input, Kind Regards
