I have a number of Science Book Club publication (22 in total) proprietors Sidgwick and Jackson ltd. Included are two original invoices dated 1950's. I'm looking for a bit of history on this club.
Thanks,
Barry

You mean the picture? Its a picture of Ullu's (Traditional Inuit Women's knifes)
Now I know. Could you post a photo of the invioces or a little more info on the books themselves.
The photo would not let me inlarge it, it was difficult to tell anything.
You don't happen to have Dragon in the Sea by Frank Herbert in this collection?
Dragon in the Sea, I don't have that one in this collection.
I apologize, I said I had two invoices but in actuality i have one invoice that is dated 6-2-56 for a book titled- More Than Human. The other two items are the Science Fiction Book Club pamphlet dated 1954 and the Science Fiction Book Club pamphlet dated 1954 (now in its second year. The books seem to be published by Sidgwick and Jackson Limited. The authors vary but all books are for the Science Fiction Book Club. I will attempt to attached the docs mentioned above once I figure it out.
This is still very active as shown on the web site, http://www.sfbc.com/
