1914 and 1916 tip trays are two of the most common versions, if frequency of eBay auctions is an indicator. They typically sell for between $100-$200 depending on condition. If one waits for the opportunity, very nice examples can be brought home for less than a C-note. I finally snagged a '16 at a great price last week off a bid auction, then successfully contacted seller (pawn shop) with an equivalent offer for a '14 version also up for sale but with no bids. These are not my first small trays. I had purchased a 1905 version on a BIN a number of weeks ago, but was slightly less satisfied due to faded condition. earlycoke provided some good advice at that time, which really rang true today when these two arrived via USPS: "Go for the excellent quality pieces, you will never regret it." Words of wisdom and experience hit the mark yet again!
