This toy probably came from my mom's late brothers when I was a little kid back in the 50's. What research I found on the Internet suggests it's from the '30's. It has steel wheels, made of stamped steel construction.
Shovel boom and bucket still work, crank is operational. The boiler is missing the door. Stickers are still on the toy, but are very faint.
