Found at garage sale all brass ash tray match holder. Thought it was Trench Art as did the seller. After lite cleaning it wa smarked on bottom Burley & Co Chicago Hotel Dept. Burley & co was an importer and distributor with a dept store at 83-85 State St. Founded in 1838 as Burley & Tyrell it became Burley & co in 1871. It is a heavy piece weighing almost 1 lb and looks very much like Trench Art. Found a similar one that sold at Worthpoint in 08 for undisclosed amt. Thanks for looking and have a great day.
