These shoes were purchased at estate sale, I was hoping to find out more info on the time period they are from. The shoes are marked with lettering and numbers on inside but no company names or marking.
Any ideas.

They look like late 1920s, early 1930s vintage to me. Shoes didn't really change all that much during that era. I'm sure experts could come a lot closer than me, but without a manufacturer name, it might be hard to pinpoint it exactly.
I would guess early 40's? I found a very similar pair with a thicker heal in a Spiegel catalog from 1948. I don't think the laces are original they were likely much thinner & shorter.
my guess would be 1940s as well....
