I've been collecting vintage kaleidoscopes for years. It started with my very first Steven Kaleidoscope when I was four. I still have it. (It's the red one on the left side of the first two images). Most of them are Steven brand, and they range from the 1940s to 1970s. Inexpensive collectibles, and fun to collect. I still get a kick out of finding one I've never seen before.

Really a symbol of a simpler time, kids today don't appreciate them.

Wow -- I remember these. It would never have occurred to me to collect anything like that. But then again, besides vintage radios, I collect old blow torches of all things LOL
