This is a neat smoking set that consist of three pieces.
The interesting thing is that all three pieces have the initials of the owner "A.B.P" and it consist of three different sized USN shells.
The large shell (3 in, 1942 dated) is a tobacco jar. The wood top still has a tight seal on the brass shell base.
The next shell (40mm, 1942) has been crafted into an ashtray. It has two cigarette rests on the top.
The smallest shell (37mm, 1943) looks to be a match holder.
Thanks for looking!
