This is an orginal Towle's Log Cabin Syrup Tin. Not the earliest tin out there, but a still a rare one. It says to read the note on the bottom of the can, which is simply are the directions of how to open the syrup! Classic!

    Very nice, When I was young grandpa use to take us searching the old desert homesteads and it was common to find these in different areas in old dump piles. Sadly, thier hard to find anymore........Thanks for sharing
