This is a Ideal toy Co Monkey Clown. He is poseable with wire in his limbs . Is made with a felt face,hands and feet and a mohair wig . He reminds me of an organ grinders monkey although he is dressed as a clown he can sit or stand . Circa late 40's to late 50's ? He stands a foot tall .
Fot lack of place for vintage plush toys I had to list under Teddy bears ? No place for him .

Mani, everyone knows that a "bell-banging" psycho monkey is smart enough to dress as a circus monkey , they're all in it together , and what about those clowns, no disrespect clowns but, Mani,would you really take one home with you? Half way home, he would start "bangin those symbols, and get that wide-eyed look, now you're starting to shake, you can't quit looking at the backseat, up ahead you can't believe which are seeing, oh no, it's a giant red and white tent! Mikie hates monkeys lol don't turn your back if you go to a zoo one of the big brothers of his may snatch you up :-) I am going to send a clapping bug eyed monkey to you to keep your wife safe at night from the little Gremlins that run around your house at night . The 4th was so hot here the fish jumped out of the lake and begged to be caught and froze and put in a freezer . And I ain't kiddin' ! <grin>
