Another P-38 from my trench art collection.
This particular example retains the propellers which are usually missing. Additionally the cockpit has been added with a half rifle bullet.
The P-38 is constructed from bullet casings and rounds and the shell base is 1942 dated.
The base is adorned with engravings of "1944, New Guinea" and "To Mary from Chester".
