It's looks to be a luggage container it has four small wheels on the bottom, leather handles, old locks, it also has a picture of a young lady inside on the lid. Does anyone know how old this may be or where it might have came from?
Looks like a dome top trunk, I would say around 1890. Hard to say who would have made it as there were many trunk manufacturers at the time making similar models. You can usually see a patent date on the lock which would tell you its earliest possible date. Love to see the boy peeking around the corner. Thanks for sharing it -- hope this helps a little.
