Hello Again,
This is a tiny little item that I picked up a few years ago at the estate sale of a woman who'd been an actress in the 30's - 40's. I think it may be bakelite, and it's handpainted with this wonderful little figure on the lid that looks like a figure from the Commedia dell'Arte. It still contains make-up, with a light, pleasant fragrance.
I think it's a nice little piece and hope you'll enjoy seeing it.
Also, if you have any more information about it, I'm all ears.
Thanks and a Good evening to one and all,
Tony.
