The Waterman Carene and the Pilot Falcon are to complement the Nib images for these pens. Both of them are superb and practically mint, although are used from time to time. The Carene is a good business pen with a firm nib, whereas the Falcon has a Soft Fine Nib that is a bit springy, but not exactly flexible.

Many years ago, I worked for Hunt Manufacturing Company which offered Osmiroid inks, pens, nibs and calligraphy sets. The gentleman in charge of that department was named Mr Rothman. He was an elegant German gentleman and no employee would consider calling him anything but MR Rothman. He knew everything about pens and was always surprised (and delighted) when someone asked him to share his knowledge. You would have loved him - and he you.
