WW1 American helmet, used WW1, between the wars and early WW11, I have not seen any with insignia before, I am told this is possibly Coastal Artillery ?

    I haven't seen this exact insignia, but the lightening bolt reminds me of electrician insignia of the period.

    Thanks Chrisnp, if the insignia was from the UK, I would have thought possibly radio operator, but I am not sure of American Forces insignia
